Curámica is a shapeshifting creative collective based in Los Angeles formed by Greg Falconi. We were a ceramics brand before we were a design collective — and that origin still shapes how we think about everything. You make something with your hands, you fire it, and it either holds or it doesn't. That standard doesn't change depending on what dimension we're working in.

Curámica formed out of unforeseen circumstances. I was laid off unexpectedly in 2023, started freelancing half a year later, and ended up taking on more work than one person could handle.  The projects varied wildly, but the people I surrounded myself with didn't — freshly laid off designers, directors, writers, and strategists navigating the same industry shift — all with the same itch to build something on our own terms. No office politics. No layers between the work and the people doing it. Just the right people in the room for the right project.
What holds the collective together isn't seniority — it's sensibility. Everyone here has been in the industry long enough to know how the traditional model works. We just decided to build something that works better.

We work across brand, web, social, motion, print, and physical objects. Sometimes all of those at once. A lot of that work happens in close partnership with PLAYING, the communications and PR collective we've been building alongside from the start.
